As you know we here at Simmonds Polishing see our mission as far more
than just painting and Polishing joinery. We strive to be a one stop shop for
all the surface coating needs of our clients. Afterall you don’t want the
hassle of trying to find someone to attend to a one-off unusual application
when its so much easier to simply drop it down to us and let us organise
everything.
To keep you informed, in each newsletter we include a description of the
products we spray and the surfaces we apply those products to.
Over the last few months Craig has been investigating some new products
that may be of value to you. These products have been tested by us and put into
production within our factory environment and various team members have been
trained up on their use.
We are now ready to put these products into our systems.
Brass and
Copper coatings,
We now have a
clear etch primer that allows us to apply any lacquer to polished Brass and
Copper. Previously we only had a single pack clear lacquer available for this
work that was only a basic system. We can now apply harder wearing two packs
and automotive finishes to Brass and Copper.
Flex Agent,
Got a product
to spray that is flexible. Traditional paints would crack if the substrate bent
too much. With our new flex agent additive, we can paint any flexible substrate
with confidence. This product is used on Taught Liners and other similar
products that require the ability to bend and stretch significantly. We are
confident our new flex agent will be able to handle your most stringent
demands.
Rubber Paint,
Historically
it has been very difficult to obtain a paint that would not only bond to rubber
but also bend enough to not crack when applied to rubber. We now have a product
available to fix this problem.
Anti-Graffiti
Coating,
Until
recently anti-graffiti paint was applied as a separate clear coating over the
top of the finished paint. We now have an additive available that can turn any
paint finish into an anti-graffiti surface. Great for external paint finishes
and signage, we can now simply add the additive in and you have an
anti-graffiti finish in any colour and any gloss level.
