Recently Craig spent 5 weeks in Europe touring, and researching lacquer
finishes. His travels took him to several furniture and polishing companies who
apply similar lacquers to us.
Craig wanted to see what popular finishing products are being used, what
spray equipment is in use and also the methods of application. He was also
looking to research the quality of the finishing being applied.
Results were that we are applying similar lacquers to those being used
in Europe and our application methods are the same, as is the equipment we are
using. The most surprising find was that the quality of application (i.e. how
well the lacquer is sprayed) tends to be of a higher quality than he expected.
We constantly strive to achieve top quality application of our lacquers
so that you, the client, receive a full bodied flat/smooth finish with as
little orange peel look as possible. It seems we are on the right track, as our
European counterparts are striving to achieve the same quality.
